Corporate Social Responsibility Award Nomination
We are delighted to announce that we have been nominated for The Corporate Social Responsibility Award at The Vendies 2021. This category is open to suppliers that demonstrate a clear commitment to the future through the implementation of sustainable, environmental, community and/or charitable initiatives.
These values are at the very heart of everything we do here at Caffe Praego. We were established in 2014 with the express desire to use the sale of coffee beans to support the funding of the Point Foundation and we haven’t looked back. Our vision has always been to support the communities that provide the high quality beans that make our coffee’s taste so great. We give our farmers fair pricing and long term agreements and directly provide financial support to the very communities we buy from, improving the lives of the farmer’s families and communities. Helping with education, vocational training and support for special needs and disabled children.
At Caffe Praego we focus our efforts on best practice, best sourcing, higher buying prices and using sustainable and reusable packaging and are always looking at ways we can do more. We all have a part to play in providing more sustainable, ethical and environmentally friendly products and we will never stop striving to do our best.
