We have started on our SCAE journey! We train to a very high standard and this will be accredited by the Industry’s most trusted body.

We are thrilled to have been able to donate £1000 to the Point Foundation for a brand new project based in South Africa & involving wildlife conservation through primary school education.

We are pleased to report Caffe Praego sales for 2017. 9 million coffees served 15,000 cases supplied totalling 90 £45,000 put back into the coffee communities.

Featuring an amazing and wide range of tea & speciality coffee drinks, that will certainly cheer, even on the bleakest of days.

Our new look Lake Kivu 1k bags launched this month featuring our new logo, up to date sourcing information, and of course Frank Setto’s wonderful artwork.

Ingoboka Co-operative children attend Kigeyo School, perched on top of one of Rwanda’s highest peaks overlooking Lake Kivu. This month we have funded the purchase of 20 tables, 50 chairs & 100 benches for their newly built assembly hall.

Together with our partners we purchased a further 600 school books for the primary learners – essential for keeping the children motivated & keen to learn.

Charles & Karen spent two weeks in South Africa promoting Caffe Praego to interested customers as well as agreeing a new Point Foundation and Praego project with Bush Babies. This wonderful project combines a focus on improving learning conditions while teaching anti-poaching and why animals close to their homes need protecting

Team Praego attended the annual HQ Theatres & Hospitality “Summit” for 400 staff and showcased a 5 minute film on how their funds are used in our Rwandan projects.

Our new sign language teacher starts this month. Gaspard HAKIZIMANA is our fourth fully funded teacher working at House of Children School.
